The Kitchens

The downstairs kitchen is available for groups to prepare meals for up to 40 people in the large conference room adjacent to the kitchen and may also be used to prep food for use in the formal dining room. A microwave oven, gas stove and oven, and refrigerator are there for your use. We also have two smaller coffee makers and a 50 cup available.

The upstairs kitchen is available for meal preparation. Though it has a microwave, stove, and oven we suggest you use the downstairs for heating and cooking of foods. Limited plastic flatware, cups, and paper plates may be used however we strongly suggest that you make arrangements to bring in your own. You may use our cleaning products to wash and clean up after your event. Please contact Immanuel for other arrangements.

The Dining Room
The formal dining room is available for teas, dinners, luncheons, and other special occasions. The original dining table seats up to 16 however we can accommodate up to 30 people in this room though 25 is optimal. We do not provide china, glasses, stainless flatware, cloth napkins and so on for more formal events. We suggest you either bring those items in or have your caterer handle that for you. Public restroom facilities are located on this level.

The Living Room
The living room is available for meetings, recitals, and other appropriate gatherings. No food or drink is allowed in this area at any time. The Steinway is only available to professional performers or piano students and only with an additional fee and under the supervision and by the permission of IBF staff. See facility usage forms for guest limits in this room. Please be aware that its availability coincides with our piano and voice lessons. Public restroom facility is located on this level.

The Sun Porch

The sun porch can seat up to 8 people however its optimum capacity is 6. Food and beverages are allowed within reason on the porch. It’s a perfect spot for the small group, individual reflection, or overflow seating for the living room. Please be aware that its availability coincides with our piano and voice lessons. Public restroom facility is located on this level.

Downstairs Meeting Room
The downstairs meeting room is perfect for the informal meeting, luncheon, or dinner. The convenience of the adjacent prep kitchen is perfect for all groups. A television, VCR, DVD player, white dry erase board, flip charts, and overhead projector are available for your use. (click here for Facility usage forms) Public restroom facility is located on this level.

The Bell Tower

Construction began in 1940 and was completed in 1944 as a tribute or memorial to her late husband. The tower was dedicated on Sunday September 29th, 1940. Immanuel Bible Foundation hopes to rededicate the structure in the near future and open it to the public. The drawings that depict a small church to the west of the tower hang in the basement along with the drawings for an outdoor amphitheatre which Mrs. Van Leer hoped would one day be used for Liturgical plays, musical performances, and the like. The tower itself is of Romanesque architecture and at one time housed the massive 12 tons of bells or carillons that played each day. After several years the structure could no longer safely hold the bells and they were removed and replaced by modern day speakers. Recorded “carillon” music is once again emanating from the speakers which were moved to the attached garage after years of being hit by lightening.

The Ballroom
The ballroom is available for meditation and other select activities.

Please note that we are closed on Sundays.
